Google Analytics integration
Traffic, acquisition and conversion in Swoop panels, answered by the people who ran the campaign rather than guessed at in a weekly review.
GA4 is unusually good at telling you a channel shifted and unusually bad at telling you why. The why is almost always a human action: a campaign paused, a page shipped, a partner went quiet.
Google Analytics metrics Swoop can read
Read-only, and only what you point it at.
- Sessions and users by day
- Conversions
- Traffic by channel as segments
History arrives on connect. Google Analytics hands over past values, so signals can appear on the first sync.
Goals from Google Analytics numbers
Swoop proposes each one with your own baseline in it. Nothing is asked of anyone until you accept.
What it asks, and who it asks
Phrased from the change, never from a theory about the cause — a leading question buys agreement instead of information.
The signal
Organic sessions fall for several days running
It asks
“What shipped or changed on the site recently that we should know about?”
Routed to: Marketing and whoever owns the web build
The signal
A channel's conversion rate slides while volume holds
It asks
“What are you noticing about the traffic from this channel lately?”
Routed to: Demand gen, plus sales if the leads reach them
The signal
A landing page's engagement drops after a deploy
It asks
“What did we change here, and what did you expect it to do?”
Routed to: The people who made the change
Usually answered by: Marketing, growth and web engineering. Answering is free on every plan — you are never billed for the people who reply.
Connecting it
A couple of minutes. Sign in with Google and pick the property. Or, if your policy prefers it, a service-account key from the Cloud console.
- 01GA4 property ID
Google Analytics: Admin → Property Settings. Numbers only, not the G- measurement ID.
- 02Service account key (JSON)
In Google Cloud: create a service account, add a JSON key, then add its email as a Viewer on the GA4 property. Paste the whole file here.
- 03Choose what it may watch
Every source states what it is allowed to look at. Ingesting everything available is how this becomes another dashboard nobody opens.
Credentials are encrypted and used read-only — nothing is ever written back to Google Analytics. Answers are synthesized by an open-weights model on Amazon Bedrock, so no foundation-model vendor sees your data; Enterprise runs that model in your own AWS account.
